Karolinska University Hospital is organising an event with panel debates centred around the challenges in the EU healthcare agenda. Peter Gocke, will be representing EUHA and will contribute to the discussion on cross-border healthcare and the EU proposals to extend the scope of e-Health cross-border services to additional cases on the perspective of international patients.
In support of Sweden’s current EU Presidency, Karolinska University Hospital is hosting an event to explore priorities across the EU’s healthcare agenda. On March 27, the hospital will host the event “Digitalisation of Healthcare & EU ambitions and challenges”, with panel discussions on subjects including digital healthcare, cross-border healthcare, precision medicine, and upcoming diagnostic trends.
Peter Gocke, Chief Digital Officer at Charité – Universitätsmedizing Berlin and Coordinator of the EUHA Digital Health and Data Network, will be contributing to the panel discussion on cross-border healthcare and challenges. The session will be moderated by Anna Sahlström, Head of National and International Affairs at Karolinska University Hosptital and member of the EUHA Steering Committee, and will address the EU’s plans to broaden the scope of cross-border e-health services to include additional cases for international patients, such as full electronic health records.
The event will bring together significant strategic expertise from a wide range of stakeholders and is targeted to decision-makers, managers and other partners within healthcare.
