As well as promoting best practices and contributing to the development of strong local, regional and national economies. Personalised medicine is an integral part of improving patient care whilst ensuring the sustainability of healthcare systems. Placing patients at the heart of the system, healthcare services will increasingly deliver the right intervention to the right person at the right time, improving the outcomes for patients and cutting down unnecessary treatments.
The European Alliance for Personalised Medicine is a Brussels-based organisation consisting of patients, academics, healthcare professionals, researchers, industry representatives and more. Its goal is the integration of personalised medicine into Europe’s healthcare systems. Its annual congress is the leading congress on personalised medicine in Europe. This year’s theme is Integrating Innovation in Europe’s healthcare Systems.
The Alliance has organised a full day track , where our leading clinicians and researchers will present their vision on the role, structure and responsibilities of university hospitals to advance personalised medicine.
